Apple TV Plex App...Clicking "Play Original Quality" keeps switching to "Convert to 4K (Maximum)?

Just more info…Not sure who suggested it, but switching ON the “use old player” in the plex settings still gives same result as switching to “convert to 4k” when trying to select “play original quality”, but the image is smooth. Not at all choppy like when that setting is set to OFF.

Thank you ALL for all your help, but this is getting futile. No really worth any more of anyone’s time. I picked up another ATV4k and will put the HD on FB marketplace.
