Apple TV plex app stating Plex Mac Media Server unavailable; has worked in the past

HI All,

I’m having an issue with a Mac Plex Media Server and an Apple TV plex app.
Both are on the newest versions of their respective software and I have checked the settings. I logged both out. Then logged Mac server back in and linked the Apple TV app.

Weirdly the Apple TV Plex shows up on the server as an authorized device but when I try to access the server on the Plex Apple TV app it says unavailable. Both show up with the same plex user ID. They are on the same network and they have worked flawlessly until a week ago. To the best of our knowledge we did not change any settings.

I read the FAQ and user guides but didn’t see anything that we missed. Thank you for your assistance.

EDIT/ADD ON: I did check Mac preferences and plex media server has folder and file access on the mac.

Hi, Having the same or very similar problem with my setup except, in my case, Plex is running on Windows and I don’t seem to have Apple TV listed as a device despite re-authorising it.
Does anyone have any solutions to this issue?
