My Plex server is up snd running but when I try to access it using the Plex app on my Apple TV I get an error message stating the server is unavailable. I tried restarting everything twice now to no avail. I’m lost at this point.
Is your server claimed/signed into? Do you see your server at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/pms
I am very inexperienced so bear with me. I can access my server from my phone, my desktop computer snd my tablet, just can’t see it from the Plex app in my Apple TV. How would I check that from within the app?

You don’t. You click on it and look at it in your web browser on your phone or computer. It will list servers which are tied to your account. I’m asking if your server is listed there.
Ok the only device listed as authorized is the web browser I used”chrome”
So I logged in on the browser and was able to access the server through the browser
Yes it shows I am signed in
Do you have more than one account? It doesn’t make sense that it shows you as signed into server but not show the server on the authorized devices page
I had an old account that is still there. I changed this many months ago. Maybe I will need to go into the server software and delete it.

did you just sign out of one account and into another?
The issue was with the Apple TV. It was signing me in under the old user. I redid the sign in process and now everything is working. Thanks so much for your help! You put me on the path to solving this issue. You are the best!
