I compared the video, audio quality of the two.
Apple TV plex new video player has dull colors and less resılutıions (it seems) compared to infuse player.
Infuse has audio boost options such as center channel boost or multi channel. I tried 300% boost it was really 3 times louder. In plex client audio boost set to huge hardly makes any difference in audio volumes.
I didnt check or really care for codec support as my AV receiver is few years old and dont support dolby atmos etc.
4k movies give buffering errors at first with plex app until you pause and wait a bit then no problems to finish the movie. Infuse doesnt have any problems from start to end with buffering.
I like and prefer plex app interface but clearly video quality, buffering handling, audio handling is better with infuse player.
Would it be possible to at least try and match some of the stuff from that app? Such as color accuracy, resolution, audio boost tweaking so that we are only misisng few…
