TL;DR Versions don’t seem to matter. Have Plex on PC, various iOS devices, and two Apple TVs. Only the PC or web interface actually “plays” a randomized or regular slideshow. iPhone, iPad, Apple TVs just sit on the first picture and don’t progress unless you swipe to the next one. Clicking play/pause does nothing. This has been an issue for years across multiple versions of Apple OSes and PLEX’s server and player software. I’m posting under Apple TV, since that’s where I’d like it to work properly the most. Even tried the “old player” option to no avail. Videos work fine. It’s just pictures in a picture library that fail to progress. Thanks!
