On the Apple TV client in particular, for months and months now when i boot up the app on my tv, I am unable to click on any movie / tv show without it taking up to 3 minutes to load the metadata. After that initial load of up to 3 minutes I’m able to access anything on the server instantly, its just that initial click on whatever I search.
For example i boot up the app and I click on my watch next tv show, it will have a yellow circle for about 3 minutes trying to load that tv show / movie and the meta data attached to it.
On my iPhone and desktop app I’m able to boot up the app and click that show / movie and see the seasons / metadata instantly and hit play and it will boot right up.
Even if I try to skip seeing the meta data and just hit the play button on my remote on whatever i want to watch next, the apple tv attempts to play it but it still takes up to 3 minutes to start.
Anyone else experiencing this issue or just me? I’m on the latest apple tv 4k model 64gb. My server is also a raspberry pi 4 if that could be the cause but doubt it as on my other apps it works fine.
