Apple TV won’t direct play if second audio stream is selected

I am having difficulty direct playing certain files on my Apple TV (3rd Gen, 128 GB). Although these files have compatible AC3 audio tracks, they are not the first audio tracks; the first is usually a TRUEHD Atmos track. When trying to select the AC3 track manually, the app attempts to transcode them and usually fails with the following message as Transcode reason:

“App cannot direct play this item. Selected audio stream is not the first audio stream and app cannot select audio streams in direct play.”

Interestingly, Plex on iOS direct plays the same track on the same file on my iPhone 15.

I found that if I remux the file so that the TRUEHD audio track is second and the compatible AC3 track is first, the file direct plays correctly.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue, either by adjusting settings on the player or by formatting the files differently?

In case someone else has the same issue, I figured out the cause. I had installed the following profile on my server to try to get AV1 to direct play on Apple TV. It seems to have messed up working profiles but only for files with multiple tracks. .
