I would love an app for Apple Watch, which could sync music to the Apple Watch for offline Playback when running and such.

Yes, this would be a killer feature for all apple watch users as there are no other apps out there for easy wireless sync of offline music to the watch unless you use itunes (urrrgghhh)

Whole heartedly agree, this would be a huge first for Plex! I had previously moved my all music listening needs over to Plex, but since getting an Apple Watch I’ve now had to use iTunes and iPhone music app again to achieve untethered music on Apple Watch - bad times!

Also to add this feature is now more relevant with the Apple Watch 2 which has GPS. Meaning those who didn’t buy the first Apple Watch for exercise because they needed their iPhone with them for tracking their exercise with GPS, are now buying the Apple Watch 2 to exercise with no iPhone with them. But no iPhone when running means no Plex Music.

Seems like a lot of work, look at the Apple Watch overcast app, it’s not great. I think a Plex Apple watch app will also have mediocre results. The apple watch isn’t designed for this use case.

The Apple Watch Overcast app is NOW pretty great since it allows you to sync from the phone app to the watch and it syncs really quickly (much more quickly than Apple’s native way of doing this). Would LOVE to see Plex step up and be the first (or one of the first) to implement watch sync for music.

I also would LOVE to be able to sync Plex Playlists to the Apple watch. About to head to the gym, and I don’t want to bring my phone to the pool. I have a ■■■■■■ $20 pair of headphones I don’t mind losing, but the iPhone itself I’d like to keep. I can wear the watch into the pool, so I won’t lose that.

I don’t need to stream necessarily, just to store a playlist on the watch would be great, too.

I too would love to be able to store my playlists on the watch, and not necessarily stream on demand.
