We now have PlexAmp since this thread was created.
Would the development team consider the prospect of an Apple Watch PlexAmp app based on these votes, or would a new thread focused solely on PlexAmp need to be created?

+1 this is the only thing preventing me from transferring all my music to Plexamp. Please bring the Apple Watch app! (app should work independent of iPhone of course).

Much-needed feature. Offline music also crucial.
Would love to go for a run with just my Apple Watch, Airpods and off-line music on the Plexamp for Apple Watch app. Please make this happen.

Casting my vote for PlexWatch on WatchOS! (might wanna focusgroup that name).
I’d like to see it handled through the PlexAmp or Plex Web interface. Personally, I’d just want to sync a playlist. Not super interested in songs or albums, etc. Add an option or checkbox next to playlist to Sync to PlexWatch.
Also not terribly interested in streaming from my NAS to my watch. Just want to sync a playlist - treat it like an iPod.

So amazing Plexamp does flac and has CarPlay. Watch would be icing on the cake. Would definitely pay!

Getting a new apple watch. Add me to the list of fans looking forward to future Plexamp support for music (my interest is offline). Using Plex for everything media based.
