No matter how many times I “reset defaults” and then choose to pin just a few libraries when I return to Plex the next day on my AppleTV it has all of my sources pinned again to the sidebar.
I then clear to defaults and it happens again the next time.
Note Plex isn’t asking for me to log back in. Same account. Did not log out between sessions.
I’ve never seen or experienced anything like this.
Would you mind sharing the Apple TV‘s logs?
Sorry it took so long: it seems to take hours or the next day before all the sources repopulate. Here’s a picture of how I want it, then a picture of how the sidebar looks the next day - I need to reset defaults, choose just these libraries, but it all comes back.
Not sure if the logs will capture this since I didn’t know when the libraries reappear. I deleted the Plex app and reinstalled it on Apple TV but still same issue. I tried grabbing a few different logs in hopes of showing something.

It’s been doing the same thing with my Google TV Chromecast. This isn’t a Plex server problem, it’s a problem with the app for the device, which you can’t get logs for specifically I don’t believe. You can and iirc there’s a separate thread where users had shared their logs. I had seen those reports for Android based clients… this is the only one I’m aware of where this happens on Apple TV.
