Hi, this might sound strange to some guys, here. But maybe I am kind of addicted in habbits.
I had to update my synology and afterwards de- and re-install plexconnect. Afterwards, I had to redefine the settings and everything worked except one thing (it might be that I do not use the correct expressions as I use a German version of plexconnect on my AppleTV.
In library I am used to find three icons for movies, tv-shows and search. After the a.m. update, I find a coverflow of the posters and the words "movies, tv-shows, search" on the right side.
How can I change that back? I find view of movies and so on within the settings but not for the library.
Help would be appreciated.

sounds correct, but I find only settings/view/ movies+tv shows+home video+channel+video player+time
no top level, but i believe i have seen this before.
i have plexconnect 0.3.1+. is this good?
edit: discovered, that I had 0.3.6 and now installed 0.3.10 - and - whoa - top level options is there.

I called my Dad and asked him to try and he posted:

With still an "empty" log? I don't take that...
If other apps are working but no DNS requests are being received by PlexConnect then the only situations when I think this could happen are:
1> The ATV DNS is not pointed at the PlexConnect IP
2> The ATV DNS is pointed at the PlexConnect IP on the wrong network interface, e.g. on ethernet when the ATV is actually using the WiFI interface to connect to the network.
If i was a gambler i would be thinking situation number 2 ;)
We resolved this in the end with a full restore of ATV from backup

Glad you got their in the end, once it is installed it is usually pretty bullet proof.

Your will need to start you own thread, with all the details requested in the pinned Read Before Posting thread, specifically the section on how to report a problem.
This error means something is using the port (53,80 or 443). But without more info it is impossible to help
