I just figured out how to stream movies from my computer to my Apple TV 3 using Plexconnect. my friends usually hang out to watch movies and shows at my place and we all were wondering if it is possible if they can stream their movies and shows to my apple TV from the computers at their houses without changing the DNS on ATV every time.
if anybody knows away that would work I would really appreciate it.

It is my understanding this is not possible at the moment, but MyPlex is something that is on the to do list, so I would expect this to allow it once it is implemented.
if all your friends computers are running plex media server and they are all on the same lan then it is already possible...
i have 2 servers and can change the server in the settings tab....
but if your friends servers are out on the internet then you will have to wait for the myplex integration....
The guys are busy on it and keep on saying soon ... so we hope it will be soon :)
I am waiting for same implementation to get multiuser working so we all have our own mydeck in the family :P
Thank you guys I really appreciate the feedback. Well I guess we all just have to wait and pray that this external servers or multi users idea comes soon enough.
