Arrow keys on keyboard to jump just a few seconds

I would love to use the arrow keys on my keyboard to jump just a few seconds while watching movies. Netflix and YouTube have this function for a long time and the volume can already be adjusted in Plex with the arrow keys. Is it possible to implement this function in the future?

You didn’t specify which Plex client you are using. This is already implemented in some of them.

I actually forgot, sorry. I’m using Plex on the Web (Version 3.39.5) and Plex Media Player on Windows (Version 2.8.0.813). And my Server is on Version 1.12.2.4929.

Sometimes I don’t understand something or just want to rewind a few seconds to let Shazam run alongside and intuitively press the left arrow key and the movie starts all over again. And then the search begins. This is already happening subconsciously thanks to YouTube and Netflix.

Which clients currently support this function? All I know is Apple TV.

The web app doesn’t support cursor keys, you’ll need to use the comma key there.

With PMP, it depends on whether you use the ‘full screen’ mode or the ‘windowed’ mode.
The windowed mode uses the same key combos as the web app.

The full screen mode supports the cursor keys. ← for 10s backwards jump
