Hi, could I ask you to give this Beta version a try please ? It should be functionnal and work with both Plex 8 and 9.

Testing: Downloaded, double clicked. Installed. “ok”. But where do I find the plug-in in Plex? I tried movie plug-ins and find arte+7. When I check under App Store (or Plex Online, how it’s called in other skins) > Installed Plug-Ins I can’t find anything arte related at all. Is this expected?
When I test the arte+7 video plug-in I get the same results as before:
- “Top 7 (deutsch)”-category not working at all
- “Datum deutsch” opens and gives me a list of french titles which don’t work when I click on any of them
the other two french categories behave identical
So my assumption is that somehow your update just didn’t arrive in my Plex-Software. I’ll be in the Plex chat for the next 30 minutes. So if you read this please contact me. I’ll be happy to help testing this.

I think there might have been a glitch in the plugin name, check under video plugins ‘videotitle’ at the letter V at tw end of the list. Try looking for the icon
If you are getting ‘top 7’ that is definitely the old version.
Give this version a try (fixed name and other parameters)
Also remember that a manually installed plug-in over an existing plug-in from the store may be auto updated, try uninstalling the store plug-in first and then installing the Beta
How do I uninstall the store plug-in?
Answer: Go to User > Library > Application Support > Plex Media Server > Plug-ins
Then delete all old Arte entries. And after that run the new plug-in which should THEN install fine.
Now I played a bit with your plug-in and can navigate fine. When I tried playing a show, I got
I experience this for all the shows I tried. I then can only exit with the ESC button.

I forgot to mention:
to uninstall a plugin I think you can always go to Plex Online > More > Installed Plug-Ins and select a plugin and press c for the contextual menu
The plug-in works just fine for me …

What version of Plex?
What version of Flash?
Are you able to navigate the Arte website and play the videos from a browser ?
Are you seating on a wooden chair or plastic ? (usually it does not make a hell of a difference with regards to RTMP streaming but you never know :))

Plex, OS and Flash versions are in my sig. I still experience the same behaviour with the same error msg after a while. The films start to stream with no picture and no sound but the timeline is running anyways. when I then try to navigate or pause I get that error msg.
Interestingly, I’m not able to play videos from the arte+7 webpage from within Firefox (4b7), but I am able to do this in Safari (using FlashBlock on both browsers). BTW, the same applies to the MySpace music player. It barely ever works in FF but never has issues in Safari.
I’m using a metal/plastic combination chair. For the winter season I have put fleece over it to ensure I have a nice warm workplace 
Might the fleece be related to the problems I’m experiencing?

Hello, sorry for the long silence … I have a working version, please download the bundle at https://github.com/pierre1313/arte-7.bundle/archives/master and give it a try (sorry I’m away from my mac and can’t make an install bundle) (I gave up on the direct links, this is using Flash so you need to have downgraded to 10.0)
