I found some more entries that are causing some troubles:

All three parts play fine on the arte webpage. In Plex I found them in the category ā€œAlle Videosā€>ā€œAktuellesā€. But when I select part 1, I get the detail info (fine), then I confirm the selection, it says ā€œOpening streamā€ + audio starts playing but I get no picture.



When I try to play part one on the iPhone it even crashed the iphone Plex app.



Interestingly part 2 and 3 play fine on both mac and iPhone.





Thoughts?

@syncopation : are you (and/or someone else on the German forum) still having the issue you reported on Dec 24? if so please create a bug against me on lighthouse so it does not fall off the radar (iā€™m back from vacation and catching up on all I forgot to do ā€¦:slight_smile: )

Thanks a lot for the plugin.

Recently I cannot watch any movies any more. Sound starts, but I dont get any video? It seems to be the sameproblem as above?



The plugin already worked for me (December was the last time I watched I think) ;(



Any ideas?

Flash version. try reading on the forums to see how to downgrade to 10.045, anything less than 10.1.

Hey,



Thanks for the quick response.

Im using Flash Version 10.0.45.2, at least firefox and safari says that. Chrome has its own flash integrated (a 10.1 version), I hope that doesnt interfere.

Other flash movies work great in plexā€¦



Any other ideas?

Seems they changed a lot? Most videos are dead for me. They are listed but not found/played. Some still play with the known error (having sound but no video). But most are not found at all.

Bad news, seems like the streams are now geolocked ā€¦ works from Germany (thanks Sander and your VPN for the debug) but not from the US ā€¦



Website does not work either. Not much I can do

Whatā€™s the reason for them to do this? Do they need to follow legal objections or are they actively trying to prevent people of using Plex (are they aware of Plex at all?)?

Donā€™t know. I donā€™t thunk they are trying to prevent plex from getting the videos. They would not break their website or that.

Thatā€™s for sure a plugin or website issue and not the general Flash issue. I just see the loading dialog and can listen to the audio, but it doesnā€™t initiate the video.

Could you remove the subtitle Einstellungen from Einstellungen. It looks a bit weird to have twice the text. :wink:

ok, an update is awaiting final review - should fix FOR GOOD the issue with the video getting stuck at ā€œopening streamā€ but the audio starting - Also removed the subtitle in Preferences/Einstellungen :slight_smile:



Should be pushed to plexonline by tomorrow

Not sure if I received the latest version since it looks like many plug-ins received some kind of update today (18th of Feb). Atm, Iā€™m still having the sound but no video issue.



I guess Iā€™ll just have to be a bit more patient for the update to find itā€™s way to me. As always: thanks so much, Pierre for investing your time to keep this plug-in running.

Yes, a lot of plugins have had a small update to support the new Android app. The Arte update has been pushed to the store yesterday.
