I’ve long wished we could get the Appears On section of each artist to include songs the artist is also featured on, which after reading posts on here and on Reddit, I know to be a difficult ask. However, this might be an alternative option that not only gives a temporary resolve to this, but also enables future artist inter-connectivity.
What if we had artists playlists sections, like on Apple Music, where custom playlists are nested within the artist page, and we could manually create playlists of songs the artist is featured in, as well as had written for, produced for, or even inspired for. It’d be a fun way for users to create custom experiences with their artists.
(I am also hoping that since playlists already exist, nesting specific ones under an artist page, with the option of them not showing up on the general playlist tab, isn’t too much a stretch of work from a dev perspective? I could be wrong? but hopefully offering a fun idea that vaguely patches an ongoing complaint as well.)
