Asus don’t make the Mini player, the chipset and software comes entirely from Realtek. To have any chance of Plex running on those Realtek and Plex would have to work together as it runs on a mix of open and closed source software. It would actually be a good move for Realtek as good GUI design is a totally alien concept to Realtek who let the engineers who build the chipsets design the GUI as well for their players, Realtek also lack any kind of advanced jukebox. If Plex were baked into the SDK for Realtek players then a large amount of media players would be Plex capable, almost all Realtek players are cookie cutter designs.
The Oplay BD player is a different chipset a Marvell Armada one that was built for BD players but can also run Android too (there are one or two Android STB’s using this chipset on the market) but the BD player runs some form of linux not Android, you’d have to convince Asus to allow Plex to run on this unit.
