Server Version#: 1.24.0.4897-411e7667f
Player Version#:
AS1004T v2
I bought this new Asustor AS1004t v2, follow the installation of Plex through the Apps Central, but it doesn’t open. It seems all fine, but in 3 browser the PMS screen does not show up. It always give me ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.
I testes another NAS (Seagate Personal Cloud). Few weeks ago, same problem. Yesterday with the new version, worked well and opens (http://...:32400/web). Also tested the PMS in my PC, working well.
But with Asustor, I am not able to make it work. Any tips in what to do? Is there a downgrade possible to test in Asustor (apk)? Maybe a release from May/April or March/2021?
My archicteture is: ARMv7 Processor rev 1 (v7l).
Thanks in advance.

I have the same trouble ((
I have Asustor AS1004t v2 and try to install app from App Center and from apk for armv7
Та же проблема. Пробовал восстановление к заводским настройкам, также пробовал установку не через стор, а напрямую с сайта файлы устанавливать, ничего не помогло.
I saw new version on plex.tv/downloads - 1.24.0.4930, installed it, but the trouble is steel there
Yes. I did the same, installed that new version and the issue continues. I could not find any troublesooting steps to turn it around.
Same issue here with a as1004t… my wd my cloud works no issues
I have the same issue, has anyone resolved this?
The problem has not been solved so far. The company apparently is not interested in them having customers!
Can those of you with this issue use the file explorer in the Asustor’s control panel app. Navigate to
Plex → Library → Plex Media Server → Logs
Find the ‘Plex Media Server.log’ file, save it to your computer and then attach that file to your next comment.
I’ve the same problem.
Here, my log file.

I found a solution, DO NOT download Asustor installer package, instead download directly from PLEX and manually install:
https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downlo … dia-server
Select > ASUSTOR
Choose Package > ARMv7
Goto > AppCentral > Management
Select > Manual Install
Locate Downloaded file*
Select > Upload
After 3 days of trying to get PLEX to work, it does. You’ll note that ASUSTOR install package (compared to direct Plex download package) is missing NUMEROUS files, particularly in the database directory.
I failed to mention in original post, I performed Uninstall for the AppCentral Plex and noted in file manager that Plex was not removed at all, so I manually deleted the Plex folders before I performed above action.
I do not have any news. This issue has been reported to the server team.
More than two months have passed, support has not solved the problem. If you can’t do that, why does your service exist at all?
I checked on this and a fix is available in 1.24.4.5081 which went public earlier today. Please install that version and let us know if you still experience problems.
Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work despite this update. I put the new log.
