Cannot connect through port 32400. Have tried various browsers. Both PC and Mac. Tried port forwarding in router. Checked port is not being blocked by ISP. Was working just fine until a power outage yesterday. Have restarted everything. Tried removing server hoping I could reinstall from scratch but can’t see how to do that, and now can’t see server at all. Anyone else having problems or is it just me?
This is now solved. I had to completely remove Plex media server from the Asustor NAS, including removing all PLEX folders. I have reinstalled the media server app and I’m now rebuilding the libraries. Must have been some sort of setting or file corruption caused by the electricity problems.
What folders in Asustor did you have to remove? I see one for the Library inside the Plex folder and that has a bunch of folders inside of it. Is that the one to delete? Any others?
Hi @GURENMKD, I did a full search of the NAS for anything vaguely PLEX related and yes there were more folders than the Library. Sorry I didn’t keep a note of them. Perhaps someone else in the forum can assist.
This can damage the primary plex database file.
If it happens again, you can try and restore the previous backup version of that database file, instead of scrapping everything and rebuilding from scratch.
This requires file-level access to the plex data folder on your NAS.

To prevent issues like this in the future, it is very much recommended to add a UPS to your NAS. Your hard drives will thank you for that as well with a longer average life span.
