atv (jailbroken) running 5.0.2
I also have the native plex app running on my atv and it works.
Library browsing works but when I try to play a show I get:
WebServer : serving .xml: /library/metadata/921&PlexConnect=EpisodePrePlay

(Should that & be a ?)
but nothing shows and I see "Trailers is unavailable. Try again later".

Well, & or ?... I guess we are not so much standard :-)
With the Preplay we currently see a little issue on our side as well: If your metadata doesn't provide director, genre and stuff, it might fail. We are working on it...
Try to play your show directly - press Play/Pause instead of Select. That should work...
I have the same problem. Try to add each video to one folder, and rename with the convention. Ex:
(Folder) Season 1
(Inside folder) Lost - S01E04 - Name of Episode
It's strange, but works for me.
I tried using play instead of select and I get a different error.
On Screen: "An error occurred loading this content - Try again later"

UPDATE: turning OFF "Force Direct Play" makes it work as long as I press play instead of select!

Great to hear!
Well, you can't have "ForceDirectPlay" on, when you want to replay aTV non-native filetypes/codecs. This option is more to troubleshoot/debug and might not survive very long in the options list :-D
cool.. was just one of the several things I tried to get it to work.
Now if pms releases their update so we can have surround sound it'll be awesome.
It is already out for PlexPass users, hopefully it will not be too long before the public release.
I can confirm that now that I have my atv at the latest firmware (5.2.1) I can see all the metadata by pressing select on the remote and all is working great.. :D
The same here. Update from 5.0.2 to 5.2.1 fix the problem.

yes. in the aTV, using your remote.
go to "trailers app" aka PlexConnect, find your way to settings...
Ah, ok - in the Trailers App, I only have 4 options: Library, Channels, Music, Photos... so that's where my problem lies.
Weird.... github about an hour ago. Let me try this all over again and see what happens... weird.
Yup, re-installed it and now I see the "settings" section - thanks!!
