The dicks over at Google have embraced enforced obsolescence and have decreed that media players and smart TVs built in 2012 and earlier will no longer be able to use the YouTube app. So, the 4-year-old Apple TV 2 is already too geriatric for Google. So, the YouTube app on the ATV2 is going to stop working shortly. I had hope that the Plex YouTube channel would continue working, but it too is displaying the "explanation" video.
Now, is there a way to get the YouTube Plex channel to continue working on the Apple TV 2 via PlexConnect? Is this the right sub-forum for this question?
