Hey Guys,

I was finally able to access trailers in my Apple Tv after countless hours of trying to figure out how to set it up. I think Ive hit a brick wall where I have no experiance or any sort of information on why this would happen. But once I access trailers under the library sections comes up saying No Library Sections Available. If anyone can help me on how to get access to all the movies that would be great! Posted below is a the log and pictures of the CMD.

I guess your Plex Server doesn't have any libraries defined, has it?

Are you able to access your videos using Plex/Web or another client?

No Im not able to access through plex web, im not sure how to excatly define libaries for Plex. Is there a guide on doing so? Cause I have no idea how it completly works.

At first blush, while I know the end result is to have PlexConnect working on your Apple TV, it seems like this is a question for the Plex Media Server threads, no? 

Did you set up anything on your Plex Web/Plex Media Manager (essentially your Plex Media Server) as to where your content lives on your computer?

No I havent touched anything on there, all I see on the web based plex is a black background qith my computer name.

That explains quite a bit then. You need to tell your server where the content lives. Most of the time people will segregate a TV Shows Folder, a Movies folder, etc. Here is a good to do:

What do you mean "all movies"?

There are basically three options:

  1. You can have your own library of films, music and photos. To make them available you need to parametrize Plex Media Server as said above
  2. One (or more) friends shared their libraries with you. In this case you need to start PlexConnect and in Settings (the rightmost option) you need to login with your Plex userid. PlexConnect will then show you their libraries, and hopefully you can play their media in your own TV
  3. The films you want are in a public provider. In this case you need to parametrize "channels" in Plex Media Server. There are several standard channels, but there are also many unsupported ones

You need to setup at least one of these options (you are not obliged to setup all three) so that you can display media in the TV.
