I just got PlexConnect installed and when I open "Trailers" on my atv I get the below message:

"No Plex Selections available in Library"

Just in case I have signed out of "MyPlex" and still same result. Below are my answers to the initial forum questions:

Do you have a plex media server setup with content added to it such as channels or movies/music/tv shows? Or a myplex shared/owned library that has content?

Yes, I have 300 videos that are in my plex media server library. I watch these on roku no issues and I just bought the atv and setup plex connect. If I sign into shared myplex I can view and watch via plex connect but since it’s through myplex it’s sluggish. I assume it will be much quicker connecting to my pms on my LAN

If its running wifi I would give ethernet a try. If you can’t run the ethernet they also sell homeplug or powerline ethernet converters. A quick google shopping search may help you out if you need them.

I’m running via Ethernet with plenty of speed. When I check the atv plex connect and look at settings it shows my pms detected. Shouldn’t it be able to connect locally without signing into “MyPlex”? Myplex is used to be able to watch plex libraries remotely like using an iPad.

Is that the only way PlexConnect will work?

No. You should be able able to connect without signing in by turning off require authentication in PMS settings. I never sign into MyPlex and have no problem using Plexconnect.

I thought so…as long as all your routes are in order and everything in your settings.cfg is left as default. Otherwise just use @institutes11’s suggestion to specify the pms location. I think this is what he means…

I was able to get plexconnect to show my library, although it takes 60 seconds or so to load my movies list. I have turned off logging but I don’t notice an improvement.

Um it should not take that long.

You are missing a carriage return in your settings.cfg.

Try throwing away settings.cfg and restarting PlexConnect with the generic settings to see if it makes a difference.
