Audio Crackling with OPUS: 2 Channel, on all devices

Some files on my Plex server have an occasionly popping or crackle sound for a brief second. They are being played via Direct Play and no transcoding is happening…

The audio works fine on my computer locally with VLC. So I have no idea what to do?
it is a Dual Audio anime Episode if that has anything to do with it. All of my movies and other tv shows work fine.

Heres the Audio info:

Confirmed opus is crackly and warbly on all all my ios devices (three iPads, iphone, and Apple TV). Same results even when played through web browsers.

Roku users having similar troubles. Someone uploaded an opus mkv to their Mega, and it plays fine through Mega’s site. Add it to plex and again it crackles and warbles.

I tried everything. Opus is broken in plex

If I connect Infuse player to Plex, it plays perfectly

Damn, Plex as been fine so far for me but this is very annoying…

Same here, films with Opus 5.1 audio track played via my Samsung/Plex app combination, audio track is being is transcoded to AAC 5.1, popping noises during playback.
