I just installed this on my apple tv 2. Everything works fine until a movie with a DTS tracks plays. The audio cuts out every second. How do I send it a file it can play?
PMS updated? If I remember correctly, they had issues with DTS on the server side?
I went into advanced mode and made sure enable dolby digital and dts downloading is on. Also in menu changed dolby digital to on from auto. I just tried to airplay it and it does the same thing.
And yes the PMS is up to date.
The atv only does dd at this time. The file is downconverted to dd then fed to the atv. Most of my media has dts but I don’t have this issue with pms/plexonnect. Does it only happen with that particular file or is it all files with dts. I assume you already set pms to this for dd to be enabled on the atv:
After messing with it for the last couple of hours I think I finally got it. I unchecked enable dolby digital saved and played movie. Worked fine but in stereo. I re checked enable dolby and saved and rewatched and file played without cutouts. Plays fine now.
