Firstly, I’m running a RAID rebuild on my PMS, which is a short-term cause of issues. This will resolve itself when it’s complete.
The issue I am experiencing is that while watching some videos that are higher bandwidth (some play fine, some don’t), the audio will desync itself, and the longer you watch, the more it desyncs, making it harder and harder to track what is going on onscreen. Plex NEEDS to implement some kind of check that resyncs audio periodically by speeding up the video or pausing it briefly to resync if it detects an issue.
The file with issues:
Codec H264
Bitrate 3308 kbps
720p
Codec AC3
The file without issues:
Codec H264
Bitrate 7985 kbps
1080
Codec AAC
I suspect this has something to do with upscaling issues.
