Starting about a week or two ago, whenever I am watching or listening to a playlist with bluetooth earbuds, the audio goes quiet once the media changes. That is, if the current episode, movie, or song finishes and Plex autoplays the next one, I lose the audio. I have to disconnect the bluetooth. If I skip via the button or explicitly select something else by clicking it, the audio is lost. If I skip backwards to the beginning of the episode/movie/song the audio is not lost. Neither is it lost if I pause and resume. It only gets lost if something else starts playing.
I have checked other apps on the system including VLC, the default video and audio players on Ubuntu, and even Plexamp but these do not exhibit it.
In the desktop Plex player however, playback continues but I have to disconnect and reconnect the bluetooth earbuds to the system to get the audio back.
