Audio drop outs - Is downgrading from latest to an earlier version safe?

I tested all public releases since 1.24.3.5033 and the first one with dropouts is 1.25.0.5282.
According to this page Plex Media Server - #475 by gbooker02 , there are a few beta releases which were not released to public before 5282.
