Audio drop outs when streaming to an AppleTV

While watching movies streamed to an AppleTV the audio will occasionally drop out. If I hit pause and then play the audio will return. This is happening frequently though and quite annoying. Does anyone have any ideas what might be the problem? Thanks in advance!
