I am running a Plex Media Server on a latest generation Mac Mini.
All Plex clients (Samsung TV app, Plexdream app on a Dreambox, streaming to Macbook, iphone and tablets) play all content without problems.
However, there are problems on a newly purchased Apple TV 4k. All content is also reproduced here and the navigation also works perfectly. However, every ~ 100 seconds, there are brief sound interruptions of about 0.5 seconds, while video playback is not affected.
Both the server and the client software are up to date. Network problems can be ruled out since only playback via Plex is affected. There are no problems when streaming UHD content, e.g. from YouTube via the AppleTV app, and all other clients in the household also have no sound dropouts.
