I tried to watch a live basketball game which I do often. Instead of the audio in English it was in Spanish but the commercials and half time report were in English. I have checked my account Audio settings and have it set to English as well as the Server Settings set to English. When I launch the same game on my tablet it works fine. If I tune my Windows Media Center PC which uses the same turner to the same channel that Plex was tuned to it is in English so the issue is within Plex with it picking up an alternate audio stream. Any idea as to how to select the correct audio stream.
after much frustration and no response I decided to install a second PMS this time on a Windows 7 PC and it works fine where as my PMS hosted on Centos7 does not. The hardware on the Centos setup is a i5-661 cpu with 4GB ram where as the Windows 7 setup is an i7-3770 with 16GB ram. The PMS version on Windows is 1.13.0.5003 and on Linux is 1.12.3.4973. I would prefer to run this on Linux. Why do they not provide the same results. Both are connected to a HDHR Prime tuner.
Not sure if your problem is actually plex or not, I will tell you my brother has the same kind of issues has nothing to do with plex, uses WMC, also nothing to do with Linux, I gave him an HDHR dual tuner that I was not using anymore, after he hooked it into his system once in a while it would choose the Spanish audio instead of English, not sure if he got his figured out I will ask him, also while I had this tuner hooked in my system using plex I never had this problem.
