I’m not sure what logs to grab, but I will gladly grab any logs that will help figure out what the issue is. Anytime that I have a 4K video that has high end audio and the TV can handle the 4K video, but not the audio. The audio get’s transcoded on the server. For example AC3 5.1 to AAC or AAC 5.1 to AAC. In both of those instances we have an issue where the server starts to buffer and returns an error of server not fast enough. This is a Dell R720 with Dual Xeon E5-2680V2 @ 2.80 GHz with an Quadro RTX 4000 and 64 GBs for RAM. This is running Server 2019, but if I transcode to 1080p and AAC audio I have no issues at all. It only occurs when I have to transcode just the audio. Is there a setting or something that I’m missing? I would love to fix this issue so that all my performance issues went a way. From what I can tell there is no reason that a my Plex server should have any issues with Transcoding anything. Any assistance would be greatly helped.
