Audio Optical S/PDIF Not Working Plex HTPC 1.6.1.2648

I updated HTPC to the latest version 1.6.1.2648-bd69a281 and I have no audio output with my audio settings:

  • Exclusive Audio: Ticked
  • Audio Device: “Realtek Digital Output (Realtek(R) Audio)”
  • Audio Device Kind: Optical S/PDIF
  • Audio Channels: 2.0 (Stereo)
  • Dolby Digital (AC3): Ticked
  • DTS (DCA): Ticked

I can confirm my audio settings are working on the prior version (1.4.1.2586-9c9436a2), which I’ve reverted to until this issue is rectified.

Please look into resolving the issue in the next release. I’ve been quite happy with the layout update in terms of classic vs modern, so great work on that.

Great news! I can confirm version PlexHTPC-1.8.0.2708-f89a2071-x86_64.exe fixes the issue with DTS output. Optical S/PDIF working working nicely as far as I can tell.
