Player Version#: Latest Roku
Starting sometime earlier this month (whenever the latest Roku client was updated), all videos (in various formats) have slightly out of sync audio. The same videos play fine on the web player. I tried rolling the server back to an August version, but that didn’t fix it. I am using the Roku wireless speakers, but no other app (netflix, etc) has any issues and it worked fine before this latest update.
Is there a way to roll the Roku player back to a previous version until this is fixed?
I ended up having to turn off direct play, which sucks. That’s the only way it stays in sync now.
I don’t understand why not everyone would be seeing this. I see it across all file types.
same exact thing happens for me on plex preview on a tcl roku 4S405, i had to disable direct play to get it in sync. My newer tcl roku 4S435 plays fine with direct play though. This started for me on the 9.4 OS rollout.
