I’ve noticed sometimes when watching a movie on my Fire TV Stick 4K that the movie will end and then there will be just a black screen with audio playing. The audio is from the movie. It’s like it picks a random point in the file and starts playing the audio again from there. I can’t seem to find any pattern to it. Has anyone else been noticing this? It’s been going on for a few months maybe. I do have the Beta updates installed automatically.
Yes I have this issue also. Seems to be when continuing to watch a movie or TV show that was already started. It also keeps it from showing played and have to manually change it. I have been looking for this topic but not sure how it would be worded. Hopefully a fix with an update.
Having the same issue on Nvidia Shield. First I thought that it’s the file’s fault but now I see the pattern with “already started”
I’m also experiencing the same problem on an Amazon Fire Stick. Like the previous reply, it only happens on videos that were already started. If I watch something from beginning to end in one sitting without pausing, the issue does not occur. When it does happen, the video freezes a bit before it’s supposed to end, the audio continues until the end, then it goes to a random point of the same episode/movie. This never happened to me before.
