Audio stream fills with artifacts (MacOS)

I updated Plexamp MacOS to 3.4.3 and played music for most of the day.

Just now, towards the end of the day, any song that I play for more than 30 seconds or so will start to fill with artifacts.
It sounds like two audio streams being played at the same time.

Pausing and resuming the song resolves it for a few seconds but it will continue again.

Plexamp.log (145.2 KB) Plexamp.2.log (3.5 MB)

If you look at Plexamp.2.log, this is around when I first noticed it (if you search for ‘paused’ and look towards the bottom) You can see where I started pausing the track to resolve the artifacting.

In Plexamp.log I try again with a different artist, and the issue persists however I do not see the same crashing.
I am currently playing the same affected tracks on an Android phone without issue to verify that it is not my rips.

I think this might be correlated to when the track begins to play from system memory, but I am not sure.

Nothing obvious there except for some errors display lyrics.

I would see if maybe this was a one-off  I’ve seen Core Audio do some very weird things.
