Audio Track Ratings have been broken on Chrome for about a month now

I hope I’m posting this in the right forum, but since about May 22th the audio track ratings dont show up in the PlexWeb interface in chrome anymore. I’m pretty sure it’s an issue with a Chrome update, because I managed to keep it working one some of my machines by not updating Chrome.

Is anyone aware of this? Will it be fixed? Thanks!

Example. The Rating shows up at the bottom, but not in the track views.

Still working for me in the most recent public Chrome version.

Did you set up any filters? The stars (and all other icons in the web app) are built using webfonts which need to get loaded into the browser.

I tried removing every extension, to no avail. Also tried in Incognito mode, Ratings still won’t show up.

Tried on a Mac and on different PCs (Win 10 and Win Vista), same thing.

What else could I do?

Do you have set a custom zoom factor in the browser?
Try CMD/CTRL+0 to reset it to default.

Nope. All zoom presets are set to Zero.

FWIW in album view, everything is fine.

I also found out that Years aren’t showing up in list view as well.. So Year + Ratings aren’t showing up.

Do you know the Developer tools in Chrome?
Call them up and try to find any error messages. Sometimes they can give a hint what is wrong.

Do also compare the behaviour of the ‘local’ and the ‘hosted’ web apps.

Unfortunately I don’t know how to use the Developper Mode.

What I find weird, is that I feel that I am the only one having this issue, yet I have reproduced this bug on multiple systems, using different OSes, all with the same result.

Surely my system setup is not what causes the issue here. It has to be something else.

Where those systems you have tested it on all part of one home network?
It might have to do with a network filter in the main gateway/router/firewall.

Both local and remote.

I just tried installing Vivaldi browser (fresh install, no extensions) to test the issue, and apparently it’s not an issue with Chrome. The Ratings and Year are also missing (in track view mode only) using Vivaldi.

So I guess this is how it ends?

I can’t believe I’m the only one having this issue.

I tried on 3 different machines (Mac/Vista/Win10), using 3 different browsers (Edge/Chrome/Vivaldi).

I tried recreating the playlists, always the same issue. And it worked flawlessly until a certain date on the week of May 20th.

I cannot recreate the issue. No matter which browser I use. The stars are all there.
So I believe it has to do with your particular setup or internet connection.
