Yes ,exactly ,one of tracks actually is in english ,but specified as rus. I have tested with older files ,which i still have ,and they played properly before tv app update .I don’t know which version of app was then .So developers introduced something to ignore audio language tags at all ,if more than one specified identical ,and exactly this causes my problem . Files are made not by me , so i can’t ask source to fix that . But i’m not happy if updating something causes problems , and makes something worse than it was . Is there a way to return tv app version to older ,which worked properly ?
Some update : i found in app settings on tv “early access enabled” and when i returned to normal ,non early version , everything is fine again ! No longer need to change audio track before playing . Default track is played and proper language .So in early access version track order is reversed ,or “default audio track” flag is ignored .
Can you tell me the path to this “early access enabled” in the Plex app? I don’t see that setting on mine. I am having the same problem. Platform Version is 5.1.1 and Client 5.1.2. My other TV works fine and is running Client 5.1.2 and Platform 5.1.1
I also might add, when I play this from my Apple TV Plex app connected to the TV and connecting to the same Plex database I do not have the problem with this one movie.
Sorry ,can’t remember where exactly this setting was located … maybe somewhere in "about " .I’m no longer on “early access” , tv app returned to previous look . In my case this is app problem , but you can try to perform the file checking with MKVToolsnix utility ,maybe you have different issue .
Ok Thanks.
I looked everywhere I thought, but I will look at a bit further. It is odd that is seems to only affect the one TV and only the app on the TV, and only one movie (so far that I have found). And that movie works fine on the other TV app as well as the Apple TV. Seems to me to either be a local app problem on the TV or a WebOS problem since it is the new LG CX TV that just came out.
