Languages changed after update blu ray discs

Hello

Some of my blu rays now play the wrong langauge. For example the film aliens clearly say English DTS MA and english DTS 5.1 yet when I play them the ifrst is directors commentary and the second is spanish.
When I select spanish it plays the german track - the german track plays english DTS

This was fine until I installed the update earlier this week.

Any advice would be great thanks

Which Plex client types are you using? If you use several different, have you compared their behavior?

Hi there

Yes I have a synology NAS and I have checked the plex app for langues on my PS4, my laptop and my mobile phone and my Nvidia shield.

All of the languages come up as what they say. This problm is only on my LG tv plex app.

I am thinking of unistalling the LG app and re installing it on the tv.

the film in question is Aliens blu ray ripped via make mkv to a mkv file

the film is in h264 and the sound is DTS master audio for the english track ( which on the LG tv is directors commentary)

hello, I discovered that when a media is played containing several EAC3 audio tracks, the audio track played is not the one selected, for example in my audio settings the “French” track is selected while the audio track that is played is the English audio track, and vice versa. I was able to solve this problem by disabling the “Dolby Digital Plus (EAC3)” option in the audio settings of the application. Could you please fix this ?

thanks for replying .That is a good solution but then we all suffer as we cannot play the audio to its maximum sound quality.

everything was fine until the plex update on my NAS was installed this week.

I have a similar problem with the LG webos client since updating my Synology Plex Server to Version 1.24.0.4930. I always have german and english audio added. Since last week it always plays english audio and no longer the german track, no matter what language i chose manually.

Could you produce a small sample file which reproduces this behaviour? Generating Sample Files from Media | Plex Support
One of the developers would like to have it for recreating the issue.
Use one of the movies where it happens for you, please.

Then upload it to e.g. GDrive and send me the download link per PM.
