Audio tracks in videos on LG TV doesn´t match names

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6562
Client Version#: 5.52.3
Platform Version#: 4.4.0

In a video with various audio tracks (English, Spanish, Japanese) if I select English audio track, the Plex player on LG TV reproduces another audio track, for example Spanish.

The selection works correctly on Windows PC.

I’ve the same issue on LG TV with webOS with some movies, it’s Italian language by default but it reproduce English only, also changing the language it remain in English.
The only way to run it in the default and needed language is downgrading the file quality to 1080P for the 4K files or to less bitrate of 1080 for the 1080 files etc.
I’ve this issue since the beginning with every app or server’s version tried.
The same files works correctly using chrome player on a PC or the android app on the smartphone.

Below the media data of one of the movies that have this issue reproducing Audio 2 (ENG) instead of Audio 1 (ITA) if it can be useful:

I think I ran into something similar to this in the past. The problem was that I had DTS enabled in settings but since my LG can’t play DTS (no sound), Plex played an alternate AC-3 track that was also encoded in the mkv. In my case it played the descriptive audio track instead of the main one. So… I’d suggest checking to make sure that you have disabled DTS in the app settings which will force Plex to transcode to a supported format.

Just something to check. Cheers.

Disabling Dolby Digital Plus EAC3 does seem to fix the problem, but it doesn’t fix the root cause, because with it enabled, the audio track does work, it is just that the names and order gets mixed.
