Audio/Video not syncing

Server Version#: 1.13.10.352
Player Version#: Web player and ios 5.9.1

I seem to have some problems with the plex web streaming of a couple shows in particular. I have attached the debug log in a text file and am not quite sure what the problem is.

Plex Web Play audio-video.txt (13.1 KB)

I am able to direct play through kodi plex app with no audio/video sync problems.

I am able to play using web player on the same computer that my plex server is on with no audio/video sync problems.

However when I use the web player from my chromebook or even the plex app on my iphone it does have the audio/video sync problems. The audio is lagging behind the video by a decent amount up to 1-2 seconds. It’s only on a couple shows. Most do not have the problem. All shows are the same format, (mpeg2 video ac3 audio in a .ts container). I’m not sure why only a couple videos would have this problem. Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Just in case anyone comes across this problem in the future I seem to have solved the problem myself.

Previously (when I had the audio/video sync problems) I had my media storage drive formatted as NTFS. I had it that way primarily so I could use the media drive library on both my windows and linux partitions. However I kept running into errors with the library and when I did an error check in windows it would mess up a few files to where it would lose the data for some video files all together and on other files it would show the title & information for a show I had saved but when opening the file to play it, it would have a completely different show. So I moved my entire library over to a drive formatted as ext4 for linux and now it doesn’t have the audio/video sync errors any longer. I also noticed that when transferring files to and from the drive it now transfers faster. Previously it was transferring files to and from the drive ~30mb/s-40mb/s. Now when transferring to and from the drive it transfers ~60mb/s-75mb/s so there was something with the drive being NTFS that was causing the problem. I hope this can help someone else in the future.
