Bug: Audiobook Track Tracking
Audiobooks are like TV shows only the track listing can be dozen’s or even a hundred plus tracks. Plex treats them like music files instead of visually tracking them like a video file of “Played vs Not” and “Resume and it was played X amount through”
This is a huge problem streaming audiobooks on plex because if you leave your book to play some music or some media file… you forever loose your place in the story you were listening too.
Plex has never been particularly useful for audiobooks. The one improvement they made with this in mind is the “Store track progress” option, but, as you’ve seen, that’s not much use if your audiobook is in more than one file.
