Being able to edit the authorised devices to user names rather than PlayStation 4 etc.
Some client types allow this already. Please add tags of the client types where you miss it.
There is an existing request for this feature.
A server is not a client.

I think what he means is, on some Plex clients (Roku, Android TV, at least), you can rename the client device from the client, not at the server.
Some client apps don’t have this capability, and I don’t know if the PlayStation does, but if it does, you can go into Settings on the Playstation client and rename it.
You may need to sign out of Plex on the client, then sign back in, before the new name will be reflected at the server (I just did this with my nVidia Shield).
Adding the ability to rename clients from the server is covered by the feature request I linked earlier.
