Automatic Home Mode - Unpinned sources

In the changelog of a 7.25 Beta of Plex for Android, it was written:

“Automatic Home mode that seamlessly configures your home screen based on your pinned sources. Upcoming versions of Plex Media Server will allow unpinned sources to be filtered from your home screen. Automatic Home can be toggled via HOME options.”

In the current version 7.28 I still see content from unpinned sources on my home screen, which is set to automatic.

Is this feature still coming? I would love to only see stuff from my pinned libraries…

It should already be filtering out unpinned libraries. What version of PMS are you running?

Thanks for your reply. I’m on server version 1.18.6.2368.

Since you wrote it should already be working, I just set my homescreen from automatic to manual, and then back to automatic, and that did the trick on on both Android TV and mobile. Now the unpinned sources are filtered out properly. So it looks to be working fine, it just did not start to do it without changing the settings back and forth.

If you recently pinned/unpinned something, the content won’t change since it’s still cached. Restarting the app would have also refreshed the content.

Actually I did not change the pinned sources for a while. And I regularly update or restart the apps and devices. So I’m pretty sure it had a lot of opportunities to refresh the cache to let the filtering kick in. But it didn’t, on two different devices (Android TV and mobile). But it’s working now, so I’m happy…
