ive been playing with this issue for awhile now and just cant figure out what is happening.
Nothing i play will Transcode - if i manualy optimise the file it transcodes and will play on any device.
This is only an issue since upgrading from r9000 router plex server to trunas core.
Mind you it never converted 4k stuff but never had issues.
I have an old TV in the bedroom that doesnt support a lot of moden audio codec so all my content when watching on this tv would do a copy video and convert audio transcodde.
Its no longer working, but i log into the sever select the file and manual optimise it transcodes and once finished i can play the file.
any help on this would be great. I first thought it was a hardaware issue but eveything works its just not automaticly converting. i have tried forcing it by lowering quality setting to 480p etc that doesnt work.
This issue has also ended my ability to remote play, unless i manualy optimise all my content for remote streaming. (my folks are devistated as they are half way though a season)
PLEASE HELP 
FYI i understand things but im not a tech head by anymeans.
