Automatically adjust quality resulting in forever loop if using SRT subtitles

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4712
Player Version#: 8.18.2.25850 ( Android mobile)

Phone: Oneplus 5t.
System config: Ryzen 5 3600, Nvidia quadro p400, 16GB

Result(Success): Video keep playing and quality is adjusted according to speed
Result(Failure): Video get stuck in forever loop… server keeps giving log [TranscodeOutputStream] Delaying subtitle output to wait for video stream to catch up

Issue:

• Seems to be happening only on android clients with SRT subtitles ( Tested mac, web, windows client these seem to be working fine)
• Happening on multiple servers ( checked with friends server also )

Scenarios(can be reproduced with these steps):

1. Subtitle disabled/off for file before playing
   Result: Success
   a) Subtitle turned on after video started playing
   Result: Failure
2. Subtitle enabled/on for file before playing
   Result: Failure
   a) Subtitle turned off after video started playing
   Result: Success

Steps for generating these logs:
START network log

1. select any movie
2. Disable logs before playing the video
3. Play the Video for 2-4second => it will play normally with automatically adjusting the quality
4. Enable/add subtitle => ( video will keep loading) server will be stuck in some kind of loop
   END network log

get logs from server and client.
Repeat the same while verbose enabled.

Yes, that is a known issue. I do not have an estimate when this may get fixed. For now, you should turn of the automatic adjustment option.
