Automatically STOP the playing video on closing windows app

I am having an issue where the current video doesn’t stop when closing the app.

Hi, I’ve been a Plex (Pass) user for quite some time and I’ve always had an issue when watching on Windows app, then another device and back to the windows app. I can be half way through a video, turn off my PC - go to the TV and pick up where I left off, watch a couple more episodes - everything is fine. simply having plex automatically stop the video when I close the app would solve the issue
