Autoplay episodes stopped working

I have 3 fire tv players in three different rooms of my home. there are two different versions of Plex installed (I haven’t updated one of them) All three of them somehow lost their ability to autoplay next episodes. They will play only one and then when the next episode is about to play, it freezes on the first frame. I have made no recent changes to my server or my players. I’ve checked the forums and one of the suggestions was to disable credits detection however, that feature was already turned off on all my players. I have the sleep timeout to 3 hours but i did recently change that to never (so it continuously plays) but that had no effect either. Has anyone experienced this and is there a fix for it?
My plex is running on a Dell PowerEdge R320, 96 GB RAM, 48 TB HDD space in RAID 5 with NIC Teaming of a quad adapter.

Edit: For some reason the button to check for updates wasn’t working and I compared what I was running vs what the latest version was and they were different, so I went ahead and manually downloaded and updated my plex server. To add to this, after several tests, I noticed it’s not just stopping at the end of the first episode. It runs the credits, then goes back to my list and does the 10 second countdown and then when it’s supposed to play the next episode, the screen that comes up is the last frame from the first episode… Both the player I’m testing and the server I’m running on are fully updated and have been rebooted.

Edit2: I just tested with PlexWeb on Windows 10 using Chrome. The autoplay feature works fine from PlexWeb… But none of my 3 players will autoplay anymore… What gives, Plex???

have you updated to yesterdays android release?

I hadn’t checked the player versions, but the one I’m testing on right now is set to auto update. Checking versions now…

SONOFAB*TCH… Clearing Cache and Data and logging back in to the app earlier didnt work, I physically had to uninstall the d@mned app and reinstall it. That did the trick, thanks for that. I gues even though “auto-update” in my firetv is set, it doesn’t actually “auto-update”… (sigh)
