Auto play hasn't worked for a very long time

Server Version#: 1.22.2.4262
Player Version#: 8.14.1.23548

Using Plex on my TCL android TV with “Play Up Next Videos” set to “On”. When I shuffle a TV show and the first episode has finished the next episode will not play and results in the following error message after the next episode countdown concludes:

“An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection and try again.”

If I hit ok and try and play the episode manually it works fine. Also on all my other clients like ATV and Roku this seems to work just fine. Is this an android Plex bug? Thanks.

You know how this goes. Logs please.

@MovieFan.Plex Thanks for taking a look. Would love to get autoplay working on this client.

Sorry, I wasn’t specific. I need the logs from the Android TV app. Your PMS shows it received a stop command from the client. Need to see those logs to figure out why.

@anon18523487 I should have known better. I think I caught it there at the end. Thanks for helping again.

Please, post a file next time, not cut and paste. I fixed it for you.

That error you see does appear to be the issue. The app failed configuring the audio playback. Looks like the audio track isn’t providing the proper bitrate information or the app isn’t able to determine the bitrate properly.

So the file plays fine on it’s own? Can you get me the Android log playing that file normally?

@anon18523487 Yes file plays fine. It seems to only affect autoplay and pretty much happens with anything including movies and TV shows.

In that it was playing the AC3 audio track. Can you try again playing the AAC track?

@anon18523487 I played the file selection the AAC track.
