Autoplay Error Still Not Corrected After 2+ Years

I have posted about this before, over two years ago in fact and still Plex has completely ignored this bug in the server or whatever the heck it is.

Even when you have the autoplay option turned OFF Plex will still play the next video in the list, if that video has a running time of 4:59 or less. You only get brought back to the menu if the video you just completed is 5:00 or longer. There still has been no update to fix this problem. Watching short videos in a list like music videos or short DVD features makes it a horrible experience because it will just keep playing the next video and you basically have to hold onto your remote to make sure that you back out quickly enough before the next video automatically begins to avoid it playing, this is extremely frustrating to have to do.

So are the Plex engineers ever going to address this issue? Or will you continue to ignore this and focus on other updates that are useless? I can’t believe after two years absolutely nothing has been accomplished to fix this. It shouldn’t matter how long or short the videos are, autoplay OFF means just that.

So since I have autoplay turned OFF Plex should NEVER play the next video in the list automatically. Why can’t this be understood and resolved after all this time?

As usual Plex is completely ignoring this issue. A moderator apparently edited my post but wouldn’t bother taking the time to address my complaint about this bug in the Plex app. I expected nothing less from the people here. It’s totally ridiculous that auto play won’t turn off if the videos played are under five minutes. But I guess nobody cares about legitimate complaints, so whatever.
